Different Metals & Finishes Applied to Artworks

Metal sculptures are generally made of bronze, iron, stainless steel, and the works are produced by casting, hammering and welding, which are generally easy to make large and permanent sculptures. In addition to these common widely used materials, with the continuous progress and development of the production process, there are now also many artists using aluminum, stainless steel mesh, corten steel, etc. to design and produce sculptures, thus obtaining a new form of artistic expression. The surface treatment of metal sculpture is also becoming more and more diversified, in addition to the common mirror polishing, painting, patina, etc., there are also the use of gold leaf, titanium plating or maintain the original color.
